Saraband for Eiluned — Grace Williams

Solo Piano - Left hand

A4 - 4 pages

Duration: 3 minutes

ISMN: 979-0-57065-083-5

Williams wrote this short elegiac piece in 1958 for her friend, the pianist and composer Eiluned Davies, who had temporarily lost use of her right hand after an accident. It has remained in manuscript to this day, and there is little doubt that, had it been published, the composer would have devised a more suitable name than the bald description “Piece for the Left hand” pencilled on the score.
